About Us
Light of Human Welfare Society (LOHWS) was founded on 26 January 2016 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh by Mr. Santosh Paraste with a small group of friends, driven by a passion to change society today and build a better India for tomorrow. What began in Jabalpur has grown into a movement working across India, giving youngsters a platform to serve and bridging the gap between the educated and the underserved.
Our volunteers educate and mentor children from orphanages, slums and village community centres, run healthcare and blood-donation drives, and distribute school kits — giving children a brighter future. The learning is mutual: our volunteers grow into tomorrow's leaders.
